Condolence: Dear Bud, Our condolences to you on the passing of Shirley. We remember the good times we had cross country skiing at Kap-Kig-Iwan Park with Shirley and Arnold being very helpful showing us the finer points of skiing and waxing when we were just beginning to get the hang of cross country skiing. Our thoughts are with you.

Condolence: Bud, so sorry to hear of your sister's passing. I worked with Shirley at E&DH, as did my mother (Iona Schlievert) before me. She often shared stories with me of mom, which I really appreciated. She was a hard-working, dedicated nurse for many years. She was a stickler for sterility in the OR and I am certain many patients escaped post-op infections as a result of her diligence.
