René, (coucoune) yes that was his nickname ... Known by many and loved by all. A man with a loud voice and easy smile Always there to help people for the simple price of a handshake and friendship. You livened up the room wherever you were. Children marvelled at your deep laugh as you played with them. You had love for all but especially the little ones. You have made a impact in your grand children's lives from the first time you held them to your last embrace.
You endured hardships and pain from countless surgeries and procedures but always smiled at the first opportunity.
Laughs and songs by the fire with a good stiff rye, the quiet of the afternoon fishing, the great BBQ parties hosted and always making sure all were quartered even though you didn't necessarily had the means for it, The Xmas parties with you as "the big guy in red", the family parties as the ( lady in pink) always a silly joke to make anyone laugh and brighten there day.
The grunting from lifting furniture and repairing decks and all for others, but above all , that true and deep laugh.
Im sure we can agree, those are some of the sounds that come to my mind when thinking about Rene.
Rene was the most gentle, loving , caring , strong, generous, funny man any one has met. He has given so many great memories to hold on to !
You made your way into our hearts Coucoune. One that won't be forgotten.
Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end, they simple Mean I'll miss you, until we meet again.
