In loving memory of Mr. Leslie Peever who passed away at Kirkland Lake and District Hospital on Saturday, February 16, 2019 with family by his side.

The last few years were spent bonding with Parker who brought such joy to his life.

Our sincere sympathy to all who knew Leslie. John and I were fortunate to have him as our Best Man at our wedding 40 years ago. Leslie was a good friend of John's in his earlier years as they grew up next door to each other in Kirkland Lake. Our condolences to the family who are mourning his passing. Dear Peever Family, I met Les through my cousin John when I was only about 14 years old. He lived right next door and was a good friend to John. As Les was such a handsome boy, of course I developed a huge crush on him. He was so kind and sweet. I only visited my cousin and his family every second year as I lived in British Columbia but as time went on and I grew up Les and I developed a wonderful friendship. Living in BC made it quite difficult but we always hung out when I would come to visit. Over the years, we eventually lost touch but I will never forget his kind eyes and soft voice. When I ran across his obituary today I was so saddened. The world has lost a wonderful man with such a kind soul. My deepest condolences to his family.

Dear Peever Family
I have a friend who spent a longtime with Leslie at the dialysis at the KL hospital... she was telling me how sad she was about losing one of her dialysis buddies.... and then I realized who it was... a name I heard in 40 yrs. I want to tell you I had a big crush on Leslie way back ... and I was so sad to hear about his passing and how he struggled with his health for so long. He was such a handsome nice young man and very shy but a great dancer đŸ˜‰. It brought back a flood of memories that made me smile. I am so sorry I found who he was after he passed... I would have loved to meet and reminisce about those innocent teenage years... gone too soon
My sincere sympathies ...
