The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Bud Colquhoun can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Rob Galloway
Condolence: Having worked with BUd from 1980 to 1986 in KL I very much appreciated what i learned from him. As a rookie Forester he taught me many things about the forestry business and Lands interactions. Also beat me many times at Ping Pong.
Even after I went to the REgion in Timmins he helped me if a lands issue came up.
A real Bonus to L&F and MNR to for me personally. A pleasure to work with

Condolence: I am very sad to hear of Bud's passing. I only knew Bud for a short time but enjoyed his company, and the stories about Englehart very much. He was a lovely person and he will be missed very much. My deepest sympathies to his family and dear friend Ivan.

Condolence: We are sorry to hear of Bud's passing. We are sure he had many more stories to share with us and we will miss him and his weekly column which now gives us a historical picture of our area.

When we first took up residence in Englehart we had the pleasure of being neighbours of Bud and Gwen.

Both Bud and Gwen were great ambassadors for the town of Englehart. Bud's obituary summarized great community spirt and a life well lived.

Condolence: For the last 45 years we've enjoyed having Bud as our camp neighbour. We could count on him to keep an eye out over the winter.

In the summer he was quick to help or offer information and he was the source of many stories.

We will miss him.

Condolence: We were so sorry to hear about Bud’s passing. He has been a great neighbour for over 45 years on Shepherd Lake. We always enjoyed visits from Bud every year where we discussed local and natural history. He clearly enjoyed the outdoors.

He will be missed, but his legacy will live on through all his contributions to the local community. Rest In Peace Bud!
