Steps Along The Life Path of BILL BEARD

Our condolences to Bill's immediate family and to his extended family to which Doris and I happily belong.Our last meeting with Bill happened at Kirkland West Tim Hortons. Doris and I had just found a seating spot when Bill appeared beside us. Talk immediately went to our families who were strangers to none of us due to the newsy Christmas Letters exchanged yearly between us. Then we began remenice about our shared experiences of which there were many. We both were Norteners who started our acquaintence as NORMALITES at  North Bay Normal School 1949 1950. We both started or teaching carreers in the elementary schools of Kirkland Lake. We married within a year of each other Bill finding Dorothy in Kirkland Lake and me finding Doris at Queens University Summer School. Our first homes were in THE FEDERAL..We both earned our degrees at University Summer School and winter University Extension Courses. Bill was truly A GENTLEMAN AND SCHOLAR and it was our privelege to travel this life path with him.
